Description

Osteospermum (African daisy) features large, daisy-style flowers with contrasting centers in shades of white, lavender, pink and purple. It prefers full sun and lean, well-drained soil, making it drought-tolerant once established. Water moderately—allow soil to dry between drinks—and remove spent blooms to encourage continued flowering. Design tip: plant Osteospermum en masse along sunny borders or tuck individual plants into mixed patio pots for a long-blooming, carefree splash of color.
