Fabulous nursery with extensive variety of healthy plants and very knowledgeable people. On my most recent visit, Rick walked me through several different areas, answered my questions about care/watering, and helped me make the best choices for my butterfly garden. It was 2,000 degrees and not a cloud to be seen, but he never tried to rush me nor appeared impatient.
I only wish it was closer to my home.

Angelo was amazing to work with, we didn’t know anything about plants in Florida, we wanted a new planter for the lanai. He helped us pick the pot, the thrill flowers, the fill flowers, and the spill plant. He was so knowledgeable about that plants would work in full sun, and would be easy to work with. My family and I were there on Sunday to pick up a tree for our yard, we were greeted by Ashley, she was very knowledgeable! Ashley took the time to show us many different types of plants and answered all our questions about size and if they would spread out or be taller with age. She was very patient with my son as well, because he also had lots of input as all 4 yr olds do. We decided on a Magnolia tree and several flowers for our home. She made the experience enjoyable! Hubby and I made a visit to select low maintenance tropical plants to decorate our flowerbeds. We don’t have a green thumb whatsoever. During our search we were approached by Ron, one of the nicest employees that we have met who assisted us. Ron was very patient, knowledgeable and professional and offered great recommendations. Yesterday I bought the most beautiful Pitch Apple tree at Solara Garden Center. Kelsey was so kind as to drive me around through the trees in the golf cart to check out the many choices. She is very knowledgeable about the many trees available and since my top priority was to have shade in the backyard, she helped me to narrow down the choices to trees that would provide the most shade.

I live in Sarasota and I had the option of going to my local nursery or here. I stopped in on the way from up North just to check out the plant selection.
I knew that I wanted more color, more bees and butterflies. 🌷🪷💐🌼🪻🌸🌸🌼🌺🍂🍃🪴
I was able to meet an employee named Rocky who answered all my questions about what I wanted to do with my flower bed and he gave me guidance through his knowledge of the plants. I wasn’t ready to commit right then and there because I had a small vehicle and I needed to come back.
Well I couldn’t make it back the next day in time before he got off of work, so I went the following day. It was a Sunday and I was greeted by a young woman named Ashley and she picked up right where Rocky left off answering my questions and super helpful. I realized I needed a tape measure and she told me that perhaps they had one inside the store to borrow. That’s when I met Alyssa and she gladly gave up her tape measure so that I could proceed with figuring out the amount of plants I needed for the area of my flower bed.
Everyone is friendly and helpful. I keep telling Ashley that she didn’t have to help because it was so hot but she didn’t care. I was impressed!
Needless to say we were very happy with the help we received, the pricing and the outcome.
I would 100% recommend Solara Garden Cemter to anybody looking for guidance with their planting projects and I will be back for later projects.
