Description
Salvia Vista (Salvia splendens ‘Vista’) features tall, upright spikes of densely packed tubular flowers in shades of deep purple, vibrant pink and scarlet, adding vertical drama to summer gardens. In Florida, plant in full sun with rich, well-drained soil. Water regularly, allowing the top inch of soil to dry slightly between waterings, and fertilize monthly with a balanced formula to sustain continuous blooms. Prune spent stems to encourage new growth. Use Salvia Vista as a backdrop in mixed borders or mass-plant along pathways for a hummingbird-attracting display.
